We are a small shop comprised of two artists: Laura and Tony. We are passionate about making beautiful jewelry that expresses our vision and that the owner will treasure forever. We focus on quality craftsmanship, great design composition, and exceptional customer service. We are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with our customers. We want the entire experience to feel like you are receiving a gift from a friend.
All of the products we offer are designed and made by us one at a time in our studio. We use traditional metalsmithing techniques to create our designs.
We have been in business since 2004 selling our jewelry directly to customers, pop-ups, and at various galleries and boutiques in Seattle. When we decided to branch out and open an online shop, Etsy was an easy choice. Our Etsy shop went live in 2013. We enjoy the personal experience Etsy allows us to have with our customers.

Laura
I first became interested in jewelry design soon after I got my ears pierced. When it was time to take the starter earrings out I eagerly went shopping. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, yet I couldn’t find it anywhere. I remember telling my brother that I wished I knew how to make jewelry because it would be cool to be able to make whatever I wanted. I shelved that thought for many years while pursuing other interests. The moment I was introduced to jewelry making by a friend at work, I never looked back.
I feel like everyone has a creative side in them. Sometimes the trick is finding that voice and how to express it. I’ve always dabbled in many different artistic arenas. When I discovered the world of metalsmithing I knew I’d found my life-long passion to channel my focus on. It integrates the artistic, mechanical and even scientific world. What’s not to like?! We get to work with really cool tools and equipment…. Oh, and there’s fire! There is something very rewarding in coming up with an idea, figuring out how to make it come to life, and then working with your hands to make it happen. You could spend your entire lifetime and never learn everything on this skill, so it is never boring.

I have always had a creative side whether it be drawing, painting or designing something. When I met Laura, she introduced me to a whole new medium in jewelry design. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and I saw the balance between creativity and working with tools. I have always been very mechanical and have always loved fixing things or restoring them. The idea of creating new things from metal was somewhat new to me and very exciting.
I started training in metalsmithing and quickly enjoyed the idea of taking raw metal and turning it into something beautiful. I have really enjoyed learning the different processes and feel like there is still so much to learn. The possibilities are endless and I feel I have only scratched the surface. You find yourself looking at metal in a whole new way and trying to see what you can design with it. When you end up creating a piece that is unique and someone loves wearing it, you get real inspiration and satisfaction from that.
